Maenum, Koh Samui |

Meimei, Yui and Momiji |
Recently, Hubby and I went for a short vacation to Koh Samui with Caramelaw and
Da Bian Zai (大便仔, a nickname derived from the Kobito Dukan character Takara Kogane and the fact that he often jokingly refers to himself as "
leng zai").
As with many Blythe collectors, first priority and much attention (after the practical aspects of planning a vacation) always goes towards resolving the question of "Which doll should I bring?" And when your fellow traveller is also a Blythe collector, the next question tends to be "Which doll are you bringing?"
Caramelaw considered Mogu Miqqi Chan and Tina Technicolour (her Dr. Blythenstein customs) but was afraid they would not travel well. Well, they do have big hair, carrying a big risk of damage by the sun, sand and sea. In the end, Meimei got to go. I had a harder time deciding, but settled on Momiji and Yui. I'm starting to feel a little guilty because I've taken the both of them on several trips recently, and have not done so for some of my other darlings.

"Watch out your skin doesn't burn. You have enough freckles as it is," said Yui to Momiji. |
