Akihiko & Shion in School Uniforms

Akihiko Zack (秋彦・ザック)

Had some playtime today. So, today is school uniform day!

Currently, I have one boy Blythe, Akihiko Zack (秋彦・ザック). On adoption, I christened him Akihiko (秋彦; kana: あきひこ), which means "autumn prince".

He is a OOAK 'Simply Chocolate'; his creator, Odd Doll, gave him a red mohair reroot and a Pure Neemo Full Flection Full Action XS Boy's body. He was born Zack, so like Hinata Cinnamon, he also keeps his birth name. (Think I'll be doing this for every OOAK baby I adopt, as a nod to their creator.)

Don't believe his "too cool for school" attitude. Akihiko tries to look cool and all that, but Akihiko's really just an earnest middle schooler (8th grade). He's quite cheeky too.

Akihiko belongs to a large (and growing) family of redheads. At the moment, he is the only boy. Not just in his redheaded family, but in the entire Yotsub4 Blythe family.

Akihiko practises iaido (居合道), a Japanese sword art. He's still a beginner. He diligently attends every after-school practice, and practises everyday at home as well. (That's why I said he's an earnest student.)

To be honest, even with the Pure Neemo Full Flection Full Action body, it's still quite difficult to pose him for certain kata, and impossible for some others. Shall not be overly ambitious. Have to adjust the hakama he is wearing also, as it was made for Azone Neemo dolls and is too long. Or I could make one for him. (Time to brush up my sewing skills...) (If I even have the time.)

Akihiko doesn't really have many hobbies. He has his iaido and he collects Gundam. (Like me.) After school on most days, including days he has iaido practice with the club, he spends time with Shion before doing his homework. He has a major crush on her that he keeps secret from everybody, including his redheaded sisters and cousins. But everybody knows anyway. Well, almost everyone, because Shion doesn't know. His puppy love will probably fade away in time. He is, after all, at the springtime of youth!

Shion Brier (紫苑・ブライヤー)

Shion Brier (紫苑・ブライヤー) is one of my favourite OOAK girls. She is a Petit Dejeuner Champs Elysées customised by Cupcake Curio. Like Hinata and Akihiko, she keeps her birth name Brier. Her adoptive name "Shion" (紫苑; kana: しおん) refers to the aster tataricus, a flower that blooms from summer to the end of autumn. Though it appears that autumn asters are better known.

Post-adoption, I swapped her PDCE scalp with a cropped Punkaholic People scalp and 3 pairs of War Faery eye chips. (I still have her original Cupcake Curio eye chips and PDCE scalp. I suppose there will come a time when I will swap out her scalp again...)

She is also an 8th grader but goes to a different middle school from Akihiko. She is an honours student at school (always among the top 3 scorers). She looks sweet and soft-spoken, but she's quite stubborn and opinionated.（；￣д￣）(Don't judge a book by its cover, right?)
