Dress-up Sunday with the Girls #2
Took Yui Jamie (ユイ・ジェイミー) out to the garden with little Totoro (トトロ) and a little white cut-out dress (a prototype I made). Would've liked to take a few more photographs but I was getting eaten alive by the mozzies, and Jamie hates the tiny black ants that kept crawling up her legs.
Decided to use Aoi Robin (葵・ロビン) and Yui Jamie as models for a couple of the yukata that I made in December last year (i.e. 2014) before things got so busy that I could hardly set time aside to stitch anything.
Yui Jamie is wearing a yukata made of pink seersucker cotton with red and purple asagao (朝顔), a classic Japanese summer flower.
Aoi Robin is wearing a cotton yukata with classic summer themes too: water ripples, lily pads and cute green frogs!
