Narcissus Bulb Amigurumi (Happy Coridon)

Narcissus bulb amigurumi, pattern by Happy Coridon (IG post).

Made this with the narcissus bulb amigurumi pattern by Happy Coridon (pattern here). The first one I attempted was done with a 2mm hook and fingering weight yarn (Scheepjes Catona). It did turn out rather...clunky. So I attempted the 2nd one with a 1.75mm hook and lace weight yarn, as specified by the pattern.

Narcissus bulb amigurumi, pattern by Happy Coridon - the one on the left one with 2mm hook, the one on the right with 1.75mm hook.

While making this, I kind of wondered if there is a difference between narcissus, daffodil, and jonquil. And there are differences. Specifically, narcissus refers to the botanical genus, of which daffodils and jonquils are different members. But narcissus is also typically used to refer to the small, fragrant paperwhite (Narcissus papyraceus).
