The book is Dollybird magazine's first knit feature, and is full of 1/6th scale knit lessons, with photographs, of sweaters, cardigans, mufflers, etc. There was also some paper craft items, cut-outs, etc.
The book also features works by popular miniature artist Ochibits (オチビッツ) and HANON, among others. A lot of whom are new to me, so I'll have to take a bit of time to go through the book, in order to fully appreciate its contents.
It was also very interesting as a quick browse, as there were a lot of photographs, as well as short write-ups about various dolly news and dolly events around the world, like the Doll Show 52 Winter, Neo Betsy Matsuri, BlytheCon Brooklyn 2017, BCSG 2017, etc.
I was pretty pleased to see the short write-up about BCSG 2017, which I attended. It was rather an unexpected delight. The write-up was by Momoko Komori-san (Momolita) (p.94) which, loosely translated, says:

Singapore's first Blythe Carnival was an event surrounded by flowers in the theme of "City in a Garden". There were many participants from Asian countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, China, and from Japan. The work of the Asian artists was colourful and happy, it was very impressive. Attendees received a goody bay at the reception, when you scratch the raffle ticket there you receive a raffle gift on the spot. Then each person took a commemorative photo, and headed to the event hall. For the organisers, I think it was difficult to do this among the crowd at the opening, but I think it was a very lovely idea to leave everyone with good memories. The event started when everyone entered! The tables of the popular artists were very crowded! I felt the power of the Asian doll fans. The shark hat made by "Kyoko's Hirameki Yuenchi"1 participating from Japan is very popular overseas through SNS. This was Kyoko's first overseas event exhibition, but a lot of people queued. Customers wore a human-sized Shark-chan hat and took commemorative photos, and enjoyed the interaction. Really a wonderful thing, to make friends just like that! I had a 1-day workshop on the day before the event, and I enjoyed sewing with everyone in Asia at the mini workshop demonstration on the day. Thanks to Ban Soon Sewing Machine for their collaboration, 7 JUKI professional sewing machines were prepared for the workshop. I was deeply moved to be able to have a classroom with such a productive environment overseas.

Poppy is publishing books for making clothes in Thailand! It is published with sweet designs and photographs with easy-to-understand instructions. From childhood, there were doll costumes. She loves Mexican embroidery style and has created lots of dresses. She makes clothes that are carefully finished up to the smallest details.
Every month she holds workshops and teaches techniques for making small Western style clothes. It seems very nice to have students improve and start their own brands. I think so too!

PJ is a custom doll artist in Taiwan. A custom doll with a pouty lip impression, similar to a person is very cute. Dolls made by her are rich with expression, even a tear-stained child will cause observers to giggle in delight. Even in small petit Blythes, you hear a cute voice.

A nice and succinct coverage by Momoko-san. And kind of brings the book a little closer to home for me, in terms of sentimentality.
