Spring Bulb Amigurumi (Happy Coridon)
Here in tropical Singapore, the only seasons we get are the monsoon season (wet) and dry season. We don't get spring, but I have experienced it elsewhere, and I love spring time. Besides the crisp spring air, I also love the sight and smell of spring. Fresh green from the sprouting plants, the spring flowers, the scent of growth and renewal in the air.
So, those sights and scents were what came to mind when I was making this spring bulb amigurumi from the pattern by Happy Coridon (pattern here). Decided to make this one not long after I completed the hyacinth bulb amigurumi (here), pattern also by Happy Coridon. This one is less challenging and laborious to make however.

Considering that it's still early February, and spring is yet to come.... I like the sleeping face on this sprouting bulb amigurumi. Like a spring bulb still half asleep, slowly awaiting the spring rains.
